How to build a content machine for the DTM.
A motorsport season is like a traveling circus – organization, races, cities, countries, people – countless stories waiting to be told. The ITR GmbH, operator of the DTM, wanted to finally implement a cohesive content strategy to elevate the storytelling of this international racing series. The mission: transform a wealth of raw stories into professional, engaging content. From pre-season to the final race, without pause. Challenge accepted. At MDCT we kicked off with “BE PREPARED” – short teaser clips capturing the drivers’ pre-season routines, the calm before the storm. Then came the full throttle: with a fresh look & feel for the website, we launched a new content strategy and planning framework. From newsletters to social media, we created dynamic formats that accelerated the digital presence of the DTM. Throughout the season, we managed a complex network of external agencies, ensuring seamless coordination across all channels – like a perfectly timed pit stop in the heat of the race.
